This time around we hit up the sales racks over at the Macy*s in the Queens Center Mall. We shopped at Urban Outfitters as well, although we forgot to take pictures of our finds, they have TONS of things on sale, from flannel, to baby doll jackets, to jeans, to t-shirts...you name it. If that isn't enough to convince you to check it out, they have 50% off of the sale price, so get up off that 'thang.

These curve hugging high waisted jeans are trickier to pull off then skinny leg jeans so beware...Shayna and I will be trying this look out for ourselves in the next few weeks so we'll let you guys know what we believe works and doesn't work. H&M will be having some in stock for their Spring/Summer collection [[ in case you were wondering, H&M isn't sooo bad, all you have to do is stray away from their casual wear like their hoodies, crew necks, and t-shirts...go over to the more sophisticated/couture side and you'll be a-okay]]. But spring is a cold winter away so, in the meanwhile look in Vintage boutiques for high wasted jeans. Hop on this trend before it becomes a "Harlem Thing"[sorry!].

It's been a while since I've been trying to debate with myself which website is the best when it comes to having info on the latest sneaker projects, collaborations, release dates, events and all that. I think Kick-Fiend.com won. They gather all the articles/updates/reports from every corner of the world. Instead of hopping from one sneaker site to another they bring information from all the modern sneaker news site together in one location with no hassle. Go peep that.

The truth is that we [shayna and I] definitely are not rich, and we're assuming that you aren't either. Many of the things we own we either don't purchase for retail price, or is just inexpensive but looks HOT, of course we have our share of expensive items in our closet (but thats besides the point). Get over your pride and look through those sales racks!! To get you fellow AIRheads started we peeped some stuff on sale over at Urban Outfitters

The tip to finding things on sale, check up on stores regularly. Those $5 you can possibly save on that Lux Jacket can hold you down with a Jamba after a long day of sale hunting =]]. We have no shame in our game, why should you?

18th st. between 7th and 8th avenues

Walking around looking at a bunch of vintage shops we came across this wonderful Barney's Co-op Store. I'm assuming that this is the store where they have the merchandise that aren't available over at Barney's New York on 60th street. The prices ranged from $60 to as expensive as $1,450. They have a nice selection of skinny leg jeans, designer denim, Marc by Marc Jacobs handbags, clothes, and accessories, BBC shirts, Kid Robot hoodies, in the mist are highly priced Diane Von Frustenberg dresses and things of that nature. Some things are on sale and others go for regular retail, either way its a nice store. Definitely worth to check out.

Guys, skinny is in for you too!! Skinny leg jeans are definitely sexy and are a great way to show off the footwear I'm sure you're proud of, while standing out and making statement. For those guys that are ready to take a big fashion leap forward from those straight leg Levi's every other guy is wearing; We've found these SEXY kind of red acid wash type jeans in the oh so glorious Urban Outfitters. For $68 its not bad, especially if we saw the same pair in Screaming Mimi's for $98. Don't sleep skinny is in, and skinny with a splash of color is even better.

Forget about wearing big colorful earrings to add some sass to your outfit. Seems like everybody is doing that now, doesn't it?? I know that we all love a splash of color here and there, so I have a shoulder to lean on for yah_____ NAIL POLISH, hot sexy nail polish. Jamba Juice is a cool place for you and a friend (or friends)to go and hang out andd stay healthy. Yeah, everyone knows about Starbucks, but the atmosphere is a little too sophisticated and uptight. Jamba on the other hand is sorta funky with their bright yellow, orange, and green decor. The cheapest Jamba Juice smoothie is $4.16...the most $$ is about 6 and change. Jamba smoothies are based on fruit...some of them have sorbet in it, but they do offer all fruit smoothies. They offer a wide array of flavors and each comes with a free BOOST such as an energy boost, a vita boost, a femme boost, etc. The aroma is of fresh orange peels which makes you wanna stay, sip, and chat. Jamba even have wheatgrass shots, but i haven't had the guts to try that yet. =\ Maybe you should, and tell me how it is!!

It's really not hard getting a hold of designer stuff, and being able to afford it. When i say "designer stuff" i'm not talking about DKNY, TOMMY HIL., CALVIN KLIEN, or like GUESS. I'm talking about EMILIO PUCCI, MARC BY MARC JACOBS, JUICY COUTURE, BCBG, BETSEY JOHNSON, & CHRISTIAN DIOR. Stores like Century 21, Burlington Coat Factory, and Marshalls have these big names hidden in the crevices of their racks. I have about 3pieces of MJ stuff...a bag, some pants, and a tank; none of them cost me over $90 each. I paid about $150 for my Glossy1 Dior shades, $50 for a graphic juicy couture hoodie($25 for plain ones), 50 for a Betseyville and a BCBG. Century 21 carries a wide selection of Emilio Pucci scarves for about 20bucks. Reality is...we can afford to wear these high end designers and its sad that some of us dont know it.
Not only rich folk in the Hamptons or in Hollywood can be decked out in Dior...we can too, we're just like them...just hotter and more exclusive!!

They've always been in but people just never really paid them much attention. Now with this whole shoe fetish that everyone seems to have, wearing skinnies/drainpipes/ciggs are just the coolest way to show-off you're footwear with out hummerstuntin' and looking like you're trying to hard. My motto is "the skinnier the better...the tighter the brighter."(bright skinnies are gonna be smackin' us in the face sooner than you know it...so stock the flack up!) Gym Class Heroes is like thee only all boy band who makes songs about girls but its not all cheesy like n*sync or backstreetboys. They're like Maroon5 mixed with LaurenHill vibes, sprinkled with a bit of PANIC!, topped off with like N.E.R.D. & HelloGoodbye; bottom line is...just listen to the ishH and you'll get my drift. The tempos are indeed rump shaking and what teen doesnt like to shake up a rump?! The lead singer Travie is sooo freaking hott. He's like a mixture of Travis Barker and some other ppl. Even though he has freakish long nappy (sexy) hair, Travie is one boy i'd mess with. Well its CHRISTMAS TIME!! [not that you wouldn't already know]___I'm young yet old enough to buy people gifts on my own, so I'm getting to the point in my life where I am no longer going to continue to get everything on my Christmas wish list, especially if I don't give to get [hehe]. In conclusion I figured that, I'd much rather give myself Christmas Gifts instead of depending on others to get what I want and waste valuable money on them [HAHA!]....sorry if I'm the first person to think of christmas this way but, wouldn't christmas be such a better holiday this way??? Think about it, no worries of getting ugly sweaters, cheap watches, and horrible sneakers your grandmother thinks are hip.

all teenage girls have atleast one of those days when they feel physically out of it. we look in the mirror and all we see are flaws. we don't accept ourselves for our distinctive features that set us apart from everyone and makes us unique. flipping through magazine pages and watching actresses on t.v. tend to set a standard for ourselves--that we didnt start in the first place. we allow the media to play with our emotions and make us feel lesser of a person if our hair isn't straight enough, or if our bust is too big or too small. as for me, self-esteem is something that i used to struggle with tremendously not too long ago. i took the wrong approach to recover and used acception from boys to make me feel better. i was not as all promiscious but when they made me feel worth something and beautiful, i got more and more confident. right now, i am at a point in my life where i no longer suffer that badly from self-esteem issues because (thanks to boys =/) i love myself enough to not hate me. its bad enough getting hated on by others on a daily basis, but when you dont love yourself...you restrict yourself from loving others which makes it harder to have a relationship because your bf/gf won't want to hear to complain about how big your forehead is or how much longer your pinky finger is than your thumb. there's no way you can love your boyfriend, if you hate yourself (thats like loving hamburgers and hating cows). i hope that me sharing something sacred that i went through almost one year ago helps other teen girls to love themselves because we are all beautiful in someway, we are not ugly or "mugged" just because one boy doesn't like us and picks the chick with the big butt && the long hair over us because there is a mate out there for every girl. what you may see as a flaw will turn a guy on.

This is a wonderful thing for Greedy Genui$(great promotion) , its been a great year for them. However on the flipside, it's unfortunate that yet another underrated company is making its way to a mass general audience. It's happenned time and time agian in the past..... with BAPE, Ed Hardy, Von Dutch, Louis Vuitton, even things like Air Force 1s, and more recently Designer Denim like True Religion.
BAPE is the perfect example of how overexposure can make a company loose a lot of respect....Bape has been out for a while now_______

as soon as it was seen on a handful of celebs, and got a bit of media coverage....suddenly you saw everybody on 125th wearing a BAPE hoody, and you saw africans selling BAPESTA's out of the back of a truck. C'mon not everybody in the 'hood is making money to be able to buy BAPE, and the people that were actually really making money and getting the official stuff were then forced to stop wearing it because it lost it's shine.

Well I could go on for days, but I just hope I don't start seeing a bunch of Africans on 125th selling Greedy Genui$, while a handful of ricans line up to buy them, and take a picture hummerstuntin with their knockoffs, post it as their myspace pic, with their name being something ghetto like "I gets money".
Because it's going to be another sad story about how a great company thats doing great things, became a bootleggers best seller.
