This is a wonderful thing for Greedy Genui$(great promotion) , its been a great year for them. However on the flipside, it's unfortunate that yet another underrated company is making its way to a mass general audience. It's happenned time and time agian in the past..... with BAPE, Ed Hardy, Von Dutch, Louis Vuitton, even things like Air Force 1s, and more recently Designer Denim like True Religion.
BAPE is the perfect example of how overexposure can make a company loose a lot of respect....Bape has been out for a while now_______
as soon as it was seen on a handful of celebs, and got a bit of media coverage....suddenly you saw everybody on 125th wearing a BAPE hoody, and you saw africans selling BAPESTA's out of the back of a truck. C'mon not everybody in the 'hood is making money to be able to buy BAPE, and the people that were actually really making money and getting the official stuff were then forced to stop wearing it because it lost it's shine.
Well I could go on for days, but I just hope I don't start seeing a bunch of Africans on 125th selling Greedy Genui$, while a handful of ricans line up to buy them, and take a picture hummerstuntin with their knockoffs, post it as their myspace pic, with their name being something ghetto like "I gets money".
Because it's going to be another sad story about how a great company thats doing great things, became a bootleggers best seller.
